10. November 2020September 11th, 2020, The Footwear Research Centre became a full member of the Czech Footwear and Leather Association (CFLA)
At present, the Czech Footwear and Leather Association (CFLA) comprises approximately 60 companies and institutions concerned with manufacture, sale as well as research and testing of footwear, shoe materials and components located in the Czech Republic.
The Czech Footwear and Leather Association is a member of the European Confederation of the Shoe Retailers’ Associations (CEDDEC). It is also a member of the International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC) and European Confederation of the Footwear Industry (CEC).
„The Footwear Research Centre connects science and research with practice and is ready to participate in implementing projects in the field of technologies and materials within the footwear industry. Being a part and full member of the Czech Footwear and Leather Association undoubtedly contributes to increasing the prestige and credibility of the Footwear Research Centre in the footwear sector“ said the director, Ing. Tomáš Sáha, Ph.D.
