Tomas Bata University in Zlín has joined an important international project under the European Education and Culture Executive Agency

AEQUALIS4TCLF

The AEQUALIS4TCLF project aims to address skills gaps in the textile, clothing, leather and footwear industries within the European Union, with a focus on equality, innovation and resilience. Similar to the METASKILLS4TCLF project, AEQUALIS4TCLF enhances opportunities for geographic collaboration while anticipating and responding to emerging skills gaps through innovative, multi-level educational resources.

In addition, the project emphasizes equality in sectors and addresses the specific needs of migrant workers in some countries. The project involves relevant stakeholders such as industry representatives, chambers of commerce, employers’ associations and higher and vocational education providers in eight European countries.

Tomas Bata University plays key roles in fostering partnerships and engaging stakeholders through the following activities:

– Identifying and creating synergies with various skills and training initiatives to enhance the impact of AEQUALIS4TCLF.

– Supporting the development and implementation of regional and local skills partnerships in the textiles, clothing, leather, and footwear sectors, in accordance with the relevant national strategy. This includes identifying best practices for public-private cooperation in skills development at both national and regional levels.

– As a partner in higher education, Tomas Bata University collaborates with specialized education providers to prepare, design, and align teaching materials with their curricula.
